| Dr. K V Murali joined the Department of Physics in 1996 as Junior Lecturer. In 2004 he was shifted to Lecturer in Physics and from 2006 onwards he is serving the Department as Assistant Professor of Physics. His M.Sc. degree is from Regional College of Education, Mysore of Mysore University awarded in 1994. He received M.Phil Degree in Applied Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Cochin in 2003. He has qualified UGC-CSIR NET. He received his PhD in Physics from Kannur University in 2014. He holds B.ED degree in Physical Science (Calicut University 1990) and Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA). He is providing guidance to M.Sc. and M.Phil students of various Colleges and Universities. His research interests are in the areas of Materials Science; Thin films technology; Metal oxide thin films; Nanomaterials; Dye sensitized solar cells; Soiling effect of Solar cells; Anti-soling coatings for Solar Cells.
